Numerical and Experimental Analysis of Drag and Lift Forces on a Bullet Head

چکیده

The bullet head plays a principal role in the modern enlargement of an efficient bullet. A bullet’s main design parameters depend upon lift and drag forces acting on head. factors shape that affect bullets’ are essential aerodynamics, especially ballistics. Therefore, effect wind bullet, to allow travel efficiently through wind, need be investigated. This work discusses force Simulations performed Ansys Fluent by varying key head, i.e., length angle attack, while keeping air velocity at 5.2 m/s. simulation outcome shows size attack important related force. this predicts inspection under distinct conditions. An evaluation is scrutinize system execution its constructive flight path. It concluded when increasing (AOA), increase drastically, contributing inefficiency accuracy penetrating power. new also proposed which reduced minimum.
